GWM, I live by myself, working nearby, in north Irving. I am a regular guy, not feminine and not looking for someone who is. I’ve been drawn to men of color for as long as I can remember, since childhood. I'm interested in meeting confident, intelligent men. A nice, affectionate guy who handles the things that go on in life is a very attractive man. I’m not a wealthy person and have no desire to be, don’t worry about the clothes I wear or the things I possess. I have enough to be comfortable and can make choices if need be, but I still need and have a job because I choose not to live in poverty. I don't care about social status or material things; who wouldn’t like a mansion and that goes with it – but without laughter, music, yes even kids hollering, or the scent of good food, what could this place give me? All I am trying to say is that a smile, laughing, a kiss and hug from a loved one is more precious to me than gold or silver. Such things are easily replaced; a loving man is not. I am a loyal friend, usually to a fault with those I love but don’t think the well won’t run dry. I instinctively believe what a person tells me unless they show that I should not, and have learned to question why quite easily.
I like music in many forms, influenced by feelings or mood, from classical, to pop, gospel - the kind you here in the smaller African American churches – (long story), guitar of virtually any style, piano. I’ll discuss any subject that I’m knowledgeable in and will listen to learn about those I do not. The innocent idealism of my 20’s has diminished as I reach this decade when observing any politician, more from seeing things more clearly now. With religion, I am respectful of others beliefs while having no feeling of obligation to accept. I’ve worked at one job over 24 years and the current one 9 in August. I have an open heart, do not give up easily and have weathered any number of storms in life. I look at things with the viewpoint of knowing they will malfunction and preparing for that rather than hoping that nothing will go wrong. Neither a miser nor a fool with money, I manage it. I have no desire to manage someone else’s money.
I enjoy football and most any form of motor racing, but can watch it while the radio plays something else or I’m speaking to another. I have found myself attracted to different men, from the smaller framed guys several inches shorter to ones with larger frames several inches taller than me. Beautiful eyes, smiles d nice butts may turn my head for an instant, but it has always been who the guy truly is inside that got my attention, my thoughts and my heart.
